how much cost of living in arkansas? plz help me.?
hi.
I with my family want to migrate to US. We want to start agriculture (I think in 20 acres fram) in US.
now I don't know which state is better for us? we have just 70-80 k$ not more.
So this is very important for us to know which states have minimum cost of living in US.
I studied that missicipi is cheapest state but farm was very expensive.
we are 3 people. If we buy farm probably we don't need to rent house.
plz help us:
how much cost of living for atleast couple of years in arkansas?
20 acres of fram can provide us a little life in arkansas?
what is your proposes to establish & improve agriculture?
If I want to do any job (even hard works), how mach it gives us? is job accessible there?
already tnx for your help.
ofcourse my family have green card and have no legal barrier to migration and my green card is in progress. so our major problem is "retain" in US. tnx

Hmm, you are wanting to go into a line of work which has been on the decline in the US for over 50 years. Family farming is increasingly being seen as a line of work from another earlier era, even in states which were historically considered "farm states". Most farming in the USA now involves large corporate entities. But having said that, you might find a niche market--like organic farming--which could be helpful to a family farm. I would see if there is an Arkansas farming organization, or even check out the state government website and see if they have an agriculture section, to learn more about the farming situation in that state. Arkansas is a relatively low cost state in which to live. On the jobs front, it largely depends on where you live in Arkansas. If you are near larger urban areas, you could commute to a job, or look in the northwestern part of the state, near Fayetteville. That area is doing quite well. The general guidance is the closer you get to the Mississippi River the poorer the state gets--fewer jobs, poorer people, etc. Best of luck.

They're not going to let you immigrate to the US with that little money and no job already lined up.
