I am going to petco in a hour to get some fish to go with my guppys and baby fire newt what should i get but n?
The fish cant be to expensive

I agree with Dream life. You should defiantly remove the newt if you plan on keeping those guppies and find him his own special tank. If you want a roommate for those guppies, consider neon tetras. They are small and friendly. Goldfish also make great friends, but they do grow at a alarming rate. At the beginning you could keep the goldfish with the guppies then move them into the newts tank when they are bigger and used to interaction.

Fire bellied newts are carnivores. They really shouldn't be in with guppies as your fire bellied newt will grow to around 6 inches and eat them. If you HAVE to get more fish then make sure they are large ones or consider an African clawed frog (albino). They are quite beautiful and are also carnivores.
