Opinions on the baby boy name Sidney?

What do you think of the baby BOY name Sidney. I really like the name Sidney Reid for a baby boy. I know a lot of people consider the name Sydney a girls name though. So what do you think?

Very nice, love seeing original male names on boys.

Sidney & Sydney are both male (I have an uncle Sydney & a male cousin whose middle name is Sydney).

I honestly prefer the spelling Sydney.

It could be worse but I've never found it very attractive...I picture a Sidney as a dorky accountant type. And with Sydney being so popular for girls (which I don't like, but anyway) he'd have the awkwardness of people hearing his name and wrongly assuming he's female. Sidney beats Slayden or Kashtyn but there are still tons of better names out there.

I agree with Elisabeth G, the name is kinda dorky, but also used too much, you can be more creative than that
