Trying to write a british home phone number into an american booking site for a holiday?
I have tried writing 44 before my number and took the 0 out of my local county code but nothing will work. any ideas?

ok call the UK from the USA all the time
0 11 44 [drop the 0 from the number even if it is a mobile or not] then dial the number as normal.

To dial the UK from the US 011 44 area code phone number.

I know this might not be ideal but does a mobile number with the international dialling code work. if all else fails send an e.mail to the company and ask them for help.

contact the company either by e-mail or phone.
Since the program is probably set to only accept valid US area codes unless you make up a phone number it probably won't work.
