Never buy theme park tickets from Ebay, you're just asking to get ripped off. You have no way of knowing if the ticket is valid and there is no way to check. It would be really bad to arrive at Disney and be told your ticket has been used or not valid. At best you'll be asked to buy new tickets and at worst, security will escort you off property.

The "Contingency" tickets were tickets issued to guests who were at the Resort when a hurricane hit and they "lost" a day on their tickets. These were given to make up for that loss. As far as I know they do not expire, but that may have changed.

However, here is your problem. There is NO way you can tell if this ticket has been used, Disney as a policy will not let you know the status of any ticket until you try to use it at one of the main entrance gates. These tickets(or actually any) can not be Sold/Re-Sold unless it is through an Authorized reseller. If this ticket is used/expired/fake Disney will be of no help to you because the ticket was purchased against their policy.

One other thing, you say that the ticket says "Contingency". If there is any other identifying information such as a barcode or ticket #, you can just about guarantee that the ticket is void. As Disney is also known to visit various sites looking for tickets, where if they see a ticket they will void it because it is being resold.

The seller should be reported to eBay for ticket scalping and banned. $1 for Jon@$$ Ho's is a blatant overcharge.

You'd have to be out of your mind buying those!

Many are already used. They are a huge problem on Ebay.
