Ya gotta get a kick out of a guy who believes a 8-8 record is better then a 10-6 team.Yes the offense is better now then when Lovie was there!Yet the defense is just bad.Funny all the accounts this guy had he knocked Cutler until Trestman came in and then he was some how transformed into someone good.
We will see what moves are made in the off season.I know there are a few Bears going to test free agency.McCowen is talking about retireing and that would be a major loss considering how good he played and how frequently Cutler is injured.
Well what i do remember is that he said Trestman was the best Black Monday hire last year.Yet Chip Kelly,Andy Reid, and Bruce Ariens (and his cool hats)all took their teams to the playoffs. They had much less to work with.
Yes this Bear expert only sees things through rose colored glasses when it comes to his team nothing wrong with that but he shouldn't expect us to take him seriously.
His racist comments are great when he can hide behind a computer. If he talked this way in real life he would get his azz beat.He knows this so he comes on here and feels powerful because he can get people upset without any consequences.

I doubt it. Under Trestman the Bears when from 31st in offense to 2nd best in the NFL. The only team that scored more points than the Bears was the Broncos.
Yes, the defense was awful but if you watched the first 3 games, the Bears defense was ranked #1 in the NFL. They led the NFL in run defense and they had 11 turnovers in the first 3 games with 3 returned for TD's. The Bears defense faltered when they lost 70% of their starters to injury.
If the Bears can keep their defense healthy and with their new and improved offense, they are MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than anything Lovie Smith coached.

Under the monumentally incompetent Lovie Smith in 2012, Chicago's offense ranked 28th in the NFL in total yardage and 16th in points scored. The defense ranked 5th in total yards allowed and 3rd in points allowed.
In 2013, the injuries and age killed the Bears defense and it ranked 29th in yards allowed and 30th in points allowed, But the offense improved to 8th on total yardage and tied for 2nd in points scored.
So with the defense Smith left behind, combined with his 2012 offense, the Bears would have been lucky to win 4 games if they'd kept Smith on. Trestman did a terrific job.
