Did Ancient Aliens leave behind advanced weapon technology that can protect us against E.L.E threats?
Quadrillian....you misunderstood the question. Some theories suggest that ancient aliens left behind massive weapons buried on our planet that can be monitored and activated remotely by said aliens. The purpose of these weapons is to destroy any incoming asteroids with the capability of causing extinction of life or even the destruction of the planet.

Wouldn't you leave behind advanced weapons to be picked up by a bunch of savage little primates who are terminally obsessed with territorial in-fighting if you were a space boogieman?

NO. If you absolutely have to post this crap, find a category other than Astronomy. If you have a REALISTIC question about Astronomy, post it. We deal with facts in here. NOT foolish beliefs of uneducated and gullible people. While you're at it. look up the definition of the word "theory". There are no such theories.
