is it ok to drink from a straw after removing wisdom tooth ?

i got stitches

    No straws! If you look at your after-care instructions from your dentist, its probably written on there. The sucking motion that you do when you use a straw can cause bleeding again.

    No straws, you don't want to dislodge a clot and get dry socket.

    No it will cause this other thing to happen I forget what it's called but it's bad
