The original Yahoo Answers was very informative and fun to use.?

You can still ask, answer, and discover anything you want to that's within the rules here. The only thing that is missing would be the banner across the top with those words on it. You can still get to those sections. I never used that banner anyway.

To answer questions, pick a category from the list on the left and go from there.

To ask a question, type the question in the purple box that says Ask. It's now off to the right.

To look up resolved (now called reference) questions, type your question or search word into the box near the top center of the page and click on the Search Y!Answers button.

Everything is still here, you just need to know how to find it.

The format has changed; the content has not. You can still ask and answer. The categories are on the left instead of the top, but they are all there. The Ask window should be on the right side now. And the Answers Home ink at top left will take you to your profile.
