    There would be so many choices that any could and would be correct . I think I would choose;

Roy Acuff - bringing the the music from the rural areas to the city

Hank Williams - the first "superstar" with the appeal to reach a mixture of young and older audience

Buck Owens - for bringing the West coast/Bakersfield sound to country

Johnny Cash - for opening country music to the modern sounds

Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, George Strait

So many others fit here You need to have Strait representing modern country

    Modern Country Music

Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw

    Women

Dolly Parton, Reba McIntyre, Loretta Lynn, Trisha Yearwood

    My four are:

    Roy Acuff

    Hank Willliams

    Bill Monroe

    Kitty Wells

There are so many more whose faces could be included:

'Fiddlin' John Carson, A. P. Carter, Jimmie Rodgers, Johnny Cash (he would be my fifth face), Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Hank Snow, Bob Wills, Marty Robbins, George Jones, George Strait, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Patsy Montana, Rose Maddox, Loretta Lynn, Dottie West, Connie Smith, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Barbara Mandrell, Emmylou Harris, and Reba McEntire, to name but a few.

You're gonna need a bigger mountain.........

    Maybelle Carter

    Bill Monroe

    Hank Williams Sr.

    Chet Atkins

Too bad there isn't room for Maybelle Carter or Patsy Cline. (Maybe swap Maybelle for AP Carter)

Edit: upon reflection. Maybelle up, AP no room

(It feels weird not to include Loretta Lynn, but... she isn't as big a giant as the others.)

Oh my goodness, who do we take down to put up Johnny Cash?
