How do I convert my Escape to include fog lights?
I have a 2008 Escape, it's base model, with 4WD. So it has the spots for foglights on the front bumper but they are filled in with plastic. Has anyone ever converted ANY vehicle to add the fog lights into the bumper? How much wiring will I need to do, any recommendations on where to buy the parts. Anything helps. thanks.
I would actually prefer them to just come on when I turn my headlights on.. so I figure if it is easy enough i will just wire it right into the main headlight switch.

Those plastic pieces pop out. Install the fog lights in that location and run the wires. the simplest way would to to add a toggle switch on the dash somewhere. Otherwise take it to a mechanic and let them run the wires professionally

I did it on my '03 F150. The wiring was all there. I added the valance, switch and...the lights, of course.
You will need a switch and *possibly* have to get the fogs turned on in the computer if you go with a factory switch.

Sylvania just came out with a line of add-on fog lights that fit into the factory locations. Check out this link
