Should I take Glucosamine and Arginine?

I take an arginine product that raises nitric oxide. This is effective in keeping the circulatory system clean. I want to also take glucosamine for my back but I read that Glucosamine lowers nitric oxide levels. It appears that it may not make sense to take both but that I need to choose which is more important to me, my back or my heart.
