Is it true that Burger King doesn't use a "broiler" anymore to cook their burgers?

I was reading an article on yahoo (that actually was originally written by someone from the "Motley Fool") about BK and some people had commented saying that BK no longer cooks their burger patties by running them through the char-broiler.

Is this really true?

How do they cook the burger patties now?

No they just got a higher efficiency broiler, but the meat will still be flame broiled, it will simply be on a different broiler.
