How to build a car body?

I've been messing around trying to find my next "have to" project I may never do lol. But I cane across this fascinating formula 1 kit car (furore formula). Basically the guy used an MR2 and built a body for it. But that isn't exactly what I want.

So how can I build the body I want put on the car?

*********

I am not looking for step by step here but pointer and good reads on the subject.

Thanks

How a car body is constructed depends on what materials you want to use and how much you are going to depend on the car body to be the chassis. There are so many ways to attack the problem, from "sandwich construction" to hand forming the parts with a English Wheel, shot bags and metal working hammers.
