Why are answers I am posting right now for most recent questions showing up as having been posted a day ago?
Today my Y!A page was automatically switched back again to the purple version and not only is it extremely slow and requiring multiple clicks to get an answer to post, it's tagging everything as done yesterday. I'll be interested to see if this question also comes up as posted "yesterday."

It's been happening to me also. Glad I'm not alone. Glitches are now the rule here. Maybe the staff have been replaced by chimpanzees as a cost-cutting measure?
