Are Sony alpha lenses compatable with the A3000?

If not, can I get an adapter for it? The e-mount lenses aren't as good. And I want to get a telephoto lens because I'm going to Costa Rica.

E mount lenses are good. Not all, but some. Just like some Alpha lenses aren't the best.

The Sony LA-EA3 adapter is designed to allow use of an "A" mount lens on your A3000 "E" mount body. It lists for $199.00 on the Sony site.

No, but there are adapters available.

Be warned, the LA-EA1, is pricey, and the LA-EA2 (an attempt to reproduce the Leica Visoflex and Zeiss Fotoflex) SLT adapter is more expensive than most lenses.

Third-party adapters may not allow aperture control or autofocus.
