Canned soup has most of the nutrition boiled out of it. Homemade could be ok, but raw veggies are even better. For weight loss you need many of those nutrients to convert calories into energy. Otherwise you can actually be fat and have malnutrition at the same time b/c you can't use it. So then you need or want badly to eat and either gain weight or feel faint and slow way down.

If they were homemade and the right kinds (they would need to have meat, vegetables etc) then yes but eating soup wont help you lose any more weight than eating other foods. It comes down to eating a calorie deficit and eating real food.

Hey I found this great website that has a bunch of soup recipes that you could try. It isn't unhealthy, it is better than processed foods, but probably not sustainable in the long run. Hope this helps!

The sodium in most soups is very very high. I retain water like crazy when I eat sodium.

Sure as long as the soups you eat are nutritious and well balanced. Also, I would want to mix things up as I can see a strictly soup diet getting old.
Good luck!

No you need a balanced diet, you will become very ill if you just live off of soup, you need protein, 5 a day, CARBS, etc... Eat enough and exercise, balance is key, trust me, its not worth it.x
