1991 honda civic hatchback si dies while running?

I just replaced the fuel pump , and I still have the same problem, any suggestions please.

    #1. You should have changed the fuel filter first.

    #2. Take or haul the car to a Honda Dealership so they can test the fuel pressure in the fuel rail pressure fitting. This is a very inexpensive test BUT the fuel filter mist be clean to get an accurate fuel pressure reading. Plugged fuel filters are the #1 cause of electric fuel pump failures.

    Thats what dont understand because the fuel pump would not come on , sometimes but it still doing the same thing with the new fuel pump. :-(

    Did you replace the fuel pump because it wasn't working?

    It could be how low of rpm's your car idles at.
