Gedarel (the pill) period came early?

Hi just wondering if anyone else has had this and therefore knows what I should do (before I bother my GP!)

I've only been taking it for 2 months, and my period came about 5 days early, so I kept taking the pills, and now I've finished the 21 days so I'm supposed to have 7 days of no pills now, and my period, but I've now just finished my period! So do I go straight onto the next pack or do I take 7 pill free days and no period?

- my main concern is that I am not taking pills in these 7 days but have no period either, so I won't actually be protected this month!

Has anyone had this and been advised?

Thanks!

Keep taking them as the packet says.

The pill stops you ovulating, so you ARE protected even when you're neither taking tablets nor bleeding.

If the cycle doesn't settle over the next few months, then you can bother your GP.
