My happiest memory is also one of my earliest recalling a brilliant sunny day on my grandfather's farm. I had gotten into the vegetable garden, and I was laying on my back looking at the sky through the tomato plants ( which are dark green on the underside of the leaves).

30 March 1996 when I was in my mid 40's, standing at the kitchen sink scouring out a copper bottomed stainless steel pan when I suddenly realised that Jesus had died for me and it was personal. It was a Damascas Road-like experience. I had been seeking God and had finally realised I was a sinner in need of a saviour. When I got down on my knees to repent, His forgiveness was immediate and absolute. I was overwhelmed by His love.
My life has never been the same since. Praise God that he saw fit to save a sinner such as me!

My three children being born, finally understanding that my parents were not the horrible creatures I had them painted to be in childhood and now realizing how much I treasure both of them and learned so many valuable lessons and now both are my best friends. My parents are now in their 80's.
