the 11000 threats are just to scare you into paying or downloading. infact the 'threat' is that program that is already on your system.

I would be concerned if that software is already on the computer, because then you will have to figure out how to remove it or reinstall the factory software and start over.
If it is just a pop-up advertisement then you should be ok.
RegCure is a low-quality computer program being promoted by a business that uses every unethical trick to get people to use it.
If you use Yahoo Search with just
RegCure
the first page is full of websites that advertise the program as a excellent program - all of the websites were created by shills and affiliate marketing.

It's more difficult to find websites that contain real stories, like this one :

which contains :
A very aggressive lady came on the line and gave me the very bad news that all kinds of bad things were in my computer running "underneath" the virus protection that was installed on my computer.

Regcure Pro is malware. It's a piece of garbage that will give you false threats. Uninstall it, don't give them a penny, and install Malwarebytes. Install the free version, run a full scan and remove whatever it finds.
Reboot your computer, run it again and you'll be clean. Depending on your computer, it could take anywhere from 15 minutes to about 30 minutes.

Lol. Its a scam!!!! If you get a call from Microsoft about threats on your PC, that's a scam too. Don't trust anyone who tells you otherwise on the phone. Don't let them install anything on your PC too!!!

Hi Bramble.
1: you should be running an anti-virus program; I use AVAST
2: NEVER click on a link to a "registry editor" "make your computer faster" "security warning" etc.
3: Go to my site http://www.skillbank.co.uk/free_software.htm and follow the links to download and run:
malware bytes OR spybot to clean any malware
Cryptoprevent - blocks a lot of trojans
Glary utilities. - clean registry etc.
good job you didnt click it - well done for being suspicious.
stars please!
