I'm pregnant with my first child and my due date was 3 days ago. At my last prenatal last week I was 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced.?
I'm so tired and frustrated. Not to mention at the end of my rope with friends and family blowing up my phone asking how I'm feeling...If we have had the baby....well???? Anyone else have similar experience? And please don't suggest ways to induce labor. I have tried them all already lol

The best way to induce labor is to walk, walk, walk. Enjoy your final moments of peace and quiet and time to nap.

At some point, your doctor will not wait for the baby to decide to arrive. The doctor will induce labor. Ask your doctor when that point will be. It's a bit dangerous to go very much past the due date, although it's not unusual for the first child to be a week or more late.

A "due date" is not carved in stone. Babies RARELY arrive on their "due date". When a doctor gives you a "due date", he is giving you an estimate; and his estimate can be off by a week or more, one way or the other. The baby will come when the baby gets ready to come, and not before.
Do NOT try to use any more methods to induce labor. You could end up harming yourself and the baby.

Let your husband field all the phone calls. You just relax and take comfortable walks. Predicting the due date is not an exact science, and you're getting all tensed up over an educated guess. Has anyone else had a similar experiences? Yeah, just about every pregnant woman ever. Take another walk in the garden.

My friend tried for 9 years to have a baby. And when she did get pregnant, sure enough the baby came two weeks after due date.

Congrats On The Baby. I Would Talk To The Doctor About It.

When people call, refer them to this website: http://haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com/
Then tell them to stop calling. Be rude if you have to, they're obviously not worrying about how rude and intrusive they're being by calling nonstop. "Please don't call again, we'll contact you when there's news."
And the things you've tried to induce don't work because you can't induce labor at home. :)
