If your faith has healed you is repeated several times in the bible, why are people so down on Christian Science?

Christian Science is a cult started by Mary Baker Eddy. There is nothing Christian or scientific about it. We are down on it for the same reasons we are down on Jehovah's Witnesses. Both depart from Biblical teachings, and both interfere with medical treatment resulting in people dying.

Because there is nothing scientific to it. In fact, science shows repeatedly that medicine does a lot to heal people and faith does about as much as the placebo effect.

Christian science is a cult that has nothing to do with Christianity and nothing to do with science.

Because "faith" doesn't "heal" anyone. Of anything.

And because the "Christian Science" (which is not science in any way) movements' beliefs have resulted in the needless deaths of numerous people, most often innocent children. It's disgusting.
