For religious folks- a travel q. What shrine or monument of a religious nature would you recommend a visit to (in the U.S.) ty.?

I have been to the This is the Place Monument Outside of SLC already.

I know of the Christ of the Ozarks and the Grotto of the Redemption in Arkansas and Iowa respectively and am looking forward to visiting both of them.

I would say visit old Catholic churches and their graveyards in the south(around New Orleans/ Baton Rouge). Beautiful and interesting.

I know they are not considered a shrine or monument.
