After taking the quiz given by the answers board I found that I was "chatting" without realizing it I had already appealed and don't feel like losing another 10 points.

No, you cannot.
But don't be too concerned about it. Your appeal may never even be looked at, and if not, you won't lose more points. Even if you do lose another 10 points, it's not the end of the world. You can quickly gain back 10 points by answering 5 questions.

no, you cannot reverse an appeal
one of three tings will happen
- they are understaffed so they may never even get around to it
- they do review it and it's denied and you lose another 10 points
- they do review it and mistakenly reinstate it (it happens)
you're at Level 6 with over 18,000 points and you are upset about losing 10 points?
and you've had an account since 2008 and only now figuring out the rules...

NO... I suggest taking said experience as a lesson learned.
It's only wise to "appeal" something if you honestly know you did NO foul.
I've not appealed in almost a year now yet when I did report a stalker roughly 4 months ago for harassment I received 7 answers & points back of which I never bothered to appeal... I was only reporting the stalker.
Points are points... nothing more as we can gain them on a daily basis.
Sometimes we just have to take our "medicine" & other times a mistake was made not of our doing.

As others have said, No... you can't not take back you appeal. That 10 pints shouldn't make a difference. Answer more questions, get best answers, you make it up quickly. There's nothing we can do with these points.
