Why don't my Answers points increase?
I visit Answers quite frequently each day and see little or no increase in my total points. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.

If you've been asking more than answering that could be the reason, asking a question costs you 5 points, 3 back if you choose best answer, answering gives you 2 points, 10 if you are awarded best answer. If you had some violations they cost you 10 points, if you appeal and lose that costs you another ten Check the link for the points set up.

I do have an idea; I think it's a comparison issue. I knit. When I start a sweater, for example, the first 3"-4" seems to go really fast. The sweater goes from 1" to 2" with lightning speed. Then, it goes from 2" to 4" pretty quickly, too. I get used to seeing it grow right before my eyes.
Then, it hits "the eternal phase" and seems to stop growing entirely, even though I am still working on it the same amount of time each day. The thing is, I can't see it growing as easily when it's going from 6" to 7" as I could when it went from 1" to 2". It doesn't look like it's growing, but if I measure it, it really is.
I think you've hit "the eternal phase" in your points. Going from 38,108 to 38,196 doesn't seem like nearly as much of a change as going from 108 to 196 did.
