Are you surprised that Microsoft's Internet Explorer patch includes XP machines?

I couldn't imagine why MS would leave millions of XP computers vulnerable. It appears that someone in Redmond still has his brain in gear.

I'm not surprised at all to be honest since many governments and large companies all around the world have extended support for XP for another year, not to mention IE is a core component of windows, it makes sense to simply release the security update to the general populous when they were developing it for the companies.
