Throat hurts from yelling?

during my rotc batalion olympics, my XO kept telling us to yell louder to win an award....now it hurts to talk, swallow, spit, gargle, breath and cough. Help!(im broke, there is no honey nor citrus fruit in my house and wont be for a while)
