The pic is Oregon Mahoney shrub.or holy shrub..the berries are loved by birds very bitter for human consumption...

They are a natural shrubs in the northwest and state shrub flower in Oregon. It likes dry cool shady areas. Thorny leaves and are spread by wildlife. They are very colorful in spring with yellow flowers which in turn berries form resembling small green grape clusters that when ripe berries turn blue.
