Do you agree with the winners of the Environmental Hall of Fame/Shame contest?

Internet contests have about the same integrity as Al Gore (and his claim to have created the Internet).

Al Gore is a jet-setting, mansion-occupying alarmist who claims that the threat from fossil fuels is so great that everyone (else) must abandon their use immediately.

The day I see Al Gore living in a grass hut and refusing to use (luxury) jets as a (routine) mode of transportation I'll give his claims another look.

So, too, with alarmists who routinely use fossil fuels while claiming the rest of us should be crucified for using them, too.

Sounds like complete BS to me. The Koch brothers contribute to conservative and libertarian think tanks and to conservatives and libertarians. The money they traced from the Koch brother went to these think tanks, most of whom do little to nothing in the way of AGW "denial".

If every contributor to liberals or liberal think tanks were demonized in the way the Koch brothers are, then I would entirely agree with the demonization of the Koch Brothers. But the FACTS are that corporations give money to both sides.

But go ahead and tell me I am wrong. Tell me that the libs are all good and the cons and libertarians are all evil. Tell me the GOOD corporations give to liberals and the BAD corporations give to conservative. Tell me that the moral politicians are all liberal and the immoral politicians are all conservative or libertarians. Can you say this with a straight face???? Because I can't even say "moral politician" with a straight face.

As for the 350 crap. I am wondering if anyone can set a more absurd goal.

As for the oil from the Koch brothers, please feel free to boycott oil and gasoline. LOL, I'm sure that will last for a whole day. In fact, lets look at fossil fuels for a sec. Do you think any of the new technologies that have extended are lifespans and so improved our lives run on warm fuzzy feeling, rainbows and dreams? My bet is that they run on energy provided by fossil fuels. Care to talk about the advancements because of plastics, like the plastics used by 350 computers? Did you thank the Koch Brothers for that or just demonize them because of your perception of what may occur in the future based upon models, 97% of which are overestimating? In fact, were it not for plastics, you would not even know about AGW, would you?

Whilst the climate change science is a multi-billion dollar a year industry, I always enjoy hearing how a few million to "denial" efforts can do so much. Perhaps you warmers should work with them and make them your friends. They know how to stretch a dollar and could likely come up with a plan that does not involve taxation.

Only an Alarmists trying to get deeper into taxpayers pockets would think the Koch Bothers have done anything wrong. They are tying to see that fuel prices don't jump to the sky and destroy our economy.

Bill McKibben on the other hand is just a shill for the man-made Global Warming SCAM. They said we were all gong to die if CO2 levels went higher than 350ppm. Well, today it's 400ppm and we are all still here and doing fine. And the world is COOLING and NOT warming.

McKibben is a con-artists.
