Now that we have had the new Yahoo answers for a while is it fair to say that it is an unusable disaster?

I can find nothing and can't participate in the Community any more. Is there any reason to use this crippled forum any more?

I have given it a fair try and have just given up. So long, guys, but this just isn't fun any more.

I guess that wouldn't be fair to say. I can't say I love ALL the changes, but I'm not having any trouble using the site. There hasn't been anything I haven't been able to find or figure out.

So nice of you to day good bye. I doubt anyone will notice you're gone. I doubt anyone would notice if I was gone. It's the internet. People come and go all the time.

Now that I have become used to it I have no problems. I can find the categories I work in and daily I am emailed my contacts questions, so it works exactly as the way I like it

Must be dependent upon whom you ask. For me, this site has more problems than ever and no.. nothing really gets fixed and many things don't work.

    Most of the "improvements" stink.

It's more like the social site they claim not to be.

I accepted the early differences and was delighted at the end of been able to thumb someone down so they vanished. As I told Yahoo many times,a real bullies tool. I was also delighted no one could block a member just to make slurs against them. Now we can at least see.

Sadly the end of voting has now made me agree with the asker. This site has damaged itself.. Oh,there are plenty of people on line but they are slowly losing people like me and the asker.

But there are too many Trolls who hate me and want me to go. I cant please them, can I ?

I think it is far from an "unusable disaster". I have no problems using it whatsoever, other than having to refresh the page once in a while. I find it MUCH more stable than the green version, with fewer glitches. And they seem to actually FIX the glitches now, instead of having the same things go wrong forever.

Is it different? Sure. But life IS change. Those who live, adapt - and vice versa.

The vast majority of members seem to prefer the old green format and don't like the new purple format.

A lot of members have probably abandoned Y!A because they found the new format too cumbersome and too slow. You seem to spend a lot of time loading and scrolling.
