How much is a Chevrolet Camaro worth?

My elderly mother-in-law has a 2nd (possibly 3rd) generation Chevrolet Camaro she's thinking of selling. It's been stored in a garage for the last 15 years. The body's a bit dinged up and nobody knows if the car still runs, the key's are lost. The title's also misplaced, but she can apply for a replacement title. What I'd like to know is, what would be a fair estimate for the car, based on the provided info. Whoever picks it up will most likely have to bring a flat bed tow truck and the car is far from "mint" condition. Also, are there any Illinois/Wisconsin/Indiana car dealers that would be interested in this vehicle? (I know some dealers are always on the lookout for Corvettes)

$1000 or less for any car if you have no idea how much work is required to put it back on the road. If this car wasn't stored properly it will need a complete rebuild which could cost you well over $10,000.

You'd barely be able to get all your money back when it comes time to sell it.

Unless the car is a low production special edition like an IROC or a Z28 the car isn't worth anything. Especially with all the issues you say it has.

We really need more information. If it's a 3rd generation, it not worth much. If it's a second generation, '70 to 73 are starting be become desirable. 74 and up, not so much, but still has some value. Getting a title should be a priority, it's illegal to sell a car without one. See if you can get more information about the car, year, engine size, etc. The someone can give you a better idea of it's value.
