Yes, because the CAUSE of farts is not the human, but the bacteria that live in the bowels. THEY don't die until after they've used up all their food and they starve.

No but right after you die you release your bowels.

A lot of people have been saying no, but actually dead people have been known to fart over a period of an hour after their body shuts down and the heart stops. This is because the pressure and all the gas held within their body is released as the muscles relax, and this exits the body as a fart.
