ok, folks....I need some help.....my medical friends, especially....A young woman is 90% blind; she can only see out the right side of her right eye. She has hypertension in her neck and shoulders. She gets headaches frequently. When she does push ups and puts pressure on her arms and shoulders she goes completely blind. She got an hour long massage today and when he rubbed her face near her eyes and her neck at the base of her skull, her headache got worse. She has been to several doctors. Some are saying it is psychological and others are saying there "may have been some inflammation around the optic nerve, but they don't see anything now". When I rubbed her neck she said it made her almost completely blind again and made her headache worse.......anybody have any suggestions or advice??

She needs to see a neurologist. Doing pushups involves what is called the valsalva maneuver. This cuts off blood flow from the brain, which aggravates her existing condition. Her existing condition is a problem in her blood flow that needs to be addressed.
I assume that she has seen an ophthalmologist. Not an optometrist. An ophthalmologist.
If she has not seen an ophthalmologist, she should see one first.

You have to contact a physician. This can be a significant issue. My spouse and i endorse using Teledoc. With Teleadoc you are able to speak straight away to US board qualified physicians 24/7. You can use your cellular phone, tablet or any laptop or computer. We are using this service for more than three years. Check it out at: http://is.gd/teladoc
