why are Blocked Y!A users still visible?
before this 'Purple Makeover' when you Blocked someone their Questions and answers would be denoted by the red slash symbol... Now their Question s appear in the thread like all others, and there is nothing to denote that they have been blocked until you scroll/click their Avatar .. IF Y!A isn't going to stop the Trolls why can't they make it easier for us to spot the repeat offenders

It's one of the features I miss yes. Having that blocked symbol made it a lot easier to weed out repeat offenders.
I've wound up innocently answering people who I blocked in the past and it wasn't until I saw their BA comments that I realised I'd blocked them and why previously.
Unless you click the profile to each and every asker then it's impossible to know if it's someone you've blocked, and whilst in my case it's only a handful, it's a feature which was handy and it's a real shame that it's been removed.
"Thats not true as didn't happend with me because If I blocked someone their questions would still show up and I would still see their answers"
>>>> Blocking someone in the old format never used to mean that their questions didn't show up. It means that when you viewed a category then there was a red "no entry" symbol denoting that you'd blocked the poster. Likewise it would not remove their answers from your view, it would merely mean that they could not answer your questions (and that's still the same at least).

Because Yahoo think they have made the simplify New version but is that true I don't know. In New version there aren't identity red symbol on question. You need to scroll down asker profile pic to conform they are your blocked person or not before going answers a question.

Thats not true as didn't happend with me because If I blocked someone their questions would still show up and I would still see their answers. Actually know I think about it there was something like that if you scrolled over the picture.
