Why is this the attitude of most "Liberals" in America today?

Getting rid of the middle class actually isn't Communism. Communism's goal is to get rid of the upper and lower classes and create one class in the middle.

The word "liberal" is outdated because it is associated with the latin word for freedom. The word liberal is being replaced with the word "progressive."

Those on the left these days are for government regulation and control. The government and academia knows how everyone else should live and think sot hat society would be better off. To live and think the right way is PROGRESS. Hence, they are know PROGRESSIVES rather than liberals.

It varies just like the attitudes of conservatives and all the other "minor " parties.

It is not liberals destroying the middle class, unless you consider folk such as the Walton clan of Wal-mart, the Koch Bros., and other such people that like to fire people like Mitt Romney and Donald Trump and ship jobs overseas liberals.

Welfare class wants everything, for free - they don't care where it comes from, as long as they don't have to work. The middle class works because they want more than food to eat and lights on in their homes, they want a yearly vacation - the rich get richer and could care less about welfare class or the middle class - they are going to make their money noi matter what happens -
