Why are some gay people (mostly guys) like this?
First off, I'm straight, but I not homophobic in the slightest. But I was in the store the other day and the guy who was serving me was gay. Then all of a sudden two other gay guys come up to the counter and say "ewwww a straight guy, why are you serving him before us?" Ummmm, maybe because I was in the lineup ahead of you
Why the reverse homophobia?

First of all, I consider myself a straight **** guy, which shouldn't be a contradiction of terms.
Now to your Q: was this a ****/gay owned store? in a gay district of a city? Did the line-cutters already know the guy serving you? If so, they might feel entitled to special treatment
But how did they know you were hetero?
Or maybe they were just kidding and playing around (most likely reason)
Source(s): Just noticed that Yahoo censored my "h" word. As a proud gay person I use that description in a proud manner. For me, it means "same", and it was obviously NOT h***phobic at all. Enuf said. - Anonymous7 years ago
That's what straight people and their homophobic ways have done to gay people.
You ( not personally) have basically created your own Frankienstien monster.

Just like reverse racism, it's a natural response to oppression.
That doesn't make it okay, it will die away when all the homophobia is gone.
