Suppose you've been in Heaven for, like a trillion years?

And you get really, really tired of playing your harp and singing hosannas to Jesus (who stopped showing any real appreciation a couple billion years before).

Is there anything you can do about it? Commit suicide and achieve nothingness? Get sent to Hell?

Nope - according to Christians you are stuck there doing nothing but basking in the rays of some omnipotent creator who, for some reason, has some severe self-esteem issues and created you for the sole purpose of believing in him, following his word to the letter, and pretty much being his b*tch for all eternity.

However, if you start groping an angel, I bet that would get you kicked to the basement ;-)

If such a place truly existed it would well, suck. So you've been singing praises to God for 900 trillion years without getting sick of it, and to think after another 900 trillion years, you will see another 900 trillion years...and on it goes. Religous folk are simply brainwashed. in what country you happened to be born in and the prevailing religion of that region is what you will believe your entire life, so it's not really something you chose, it was chosen for you. Religion is bull.

In Islam Heaven is going to be great you can have whatever your heart desires. Here is a little description about heaven. Surah: 16. an-Nahl

    31. Gardens of Eternity which they will enter: beneath them flow (pleasant) rivers: they will have therein all that they wish: thus does Allah reward the righteous Surah: 18. al-Kahf 31. For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade; they will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on! Also the lowest in rank a person earns in heaven will be 10 times better than this world so imagine the best thing to do on Earth or something that is popular by the millions or billions of people in this world and times it by that.

This is the same thing we tell people when we go preach to them. When they say the believe in going to heaven. But what are you going to do up there for all those years? The bible says that it is in our hearts to live forever and never wanting to die true but it also says that we as humans like to enjoy life. Therefore some people that we preach to even say the same thing if there is another alternative to heaven? Well not everybody in the world is going to heaven the bible specifies the amount and that is 144,000 people that will serve with God and Jesus in heaven while the rest of the righteous people the bible also says what will happen to them in Psalm 37:29 "the righteous will posses the earth, and they will live FOREVER on it" so there you have it. God did not create the Earth simply for nothing. Rather it was made for us to live on it forever in it there are infinite things to do on it and study and travel and when the promise of Revelation 21:4 becomes true the world would be a beautiful paradise and death and suffering will be no more. Many people do not have the wish to go to heaven it does not capture their attention so they are amazed when we show them these scriptures that promise a beautiful life here on earth. Heaven is not what you imagine it to be. And Hell is much worse than you may think.

Heaven and Hell are very real places. Heaven will be more wonderful than anything experienced on earth, and Hell worse than the most awful thing experienced on earth.

Some people have been given real visions of heaven and/or hell or experienced one of them in near death experiences. These four videos show examples. The last link is a test you can do to see where you are currently headed.

“The first ten million years were the worst," said Marvin, "and the second ten million years, they were the worst too. The third ten million years I didn't enjoy at all. After that I went into a bit of a decline.”

― Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

I could not imagine living for a thousand years let alone eternity. Boredom would set in after a very short time.

tiredness and boredom don't exist in heaven. Limited beings will always have something new to experience unless you end up in hell for the rest of eternity.

Time or years don't exist in Heaven.

This world has cured me of longing for evil.

I won't soon forget the suffering I have experienced or the suffering I labored in vain to prevent.

If this life is your idea of fun, then I leave you to it.

    Hope that helps.

I sure would rather be in nothingness than in a heaven like that. Even he'll sounds better than being in eternal happiness and walking around with Jesus for eternity.
