Since members of AA are by name anonymous this is a futile attempt to exploit.

As a longtime sober individual I have met many famous people who are alcoholics, many of which would surprise you. Many of them highly skilled athletes.

Depends on your definition. A lot of players drank, but weren't alcoholics - at least, they weren't so dependent on booze that it ruined their career. Babe Ruth wasn't an alcoholic for example.
