What would a Brazilian person mean by "living in the heart"?

Update:

I mention she's Brazilian because it sounds like a funny translation. OK, what would you mean by "living in the heart"?

    In Brazilian Portuguese there is this expression '' You live in my heart'' (você mora no meu coração) when a person say that to someone means they like them very much.

    I am not sure what Brazil would have to do with it. Unless it has something to do with the VooDoo practice. There are many planes of existence. The Heart is certainly one of them.
