Christians, do you agree that Franklin Graham is the worst thing to happen to god?
That's what one pastor says:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/derek-penwell/frankl...
"You see, Franklin Graham is at it again, making life difficult for thoughtful Christians everywhere. In a speech at the Family Research Council’s Watchmen on the Wall, Graham made it his business to remind the audience of pastors about the people God hates...."
"Speaking as a Christian pastor, I attest that following Jesus is difficult enough without having to live down the advanced billing from folks like Franklin Graham, who are convinced that God has nothing better to do than to figure out new categories of people to despise.
I know love is more than uncritically affirming everything a person does; but I still can’t figure out a way to call a god who hates people “loving.” And if that’s true, Franklin Graham is the worst thing to happen to God in awhile."

How dare someone actually preach the bible.
All Graham is doing is highlighting how bigoted and hateful God is.
What has changed are the pastors and the society that he is preaching to. We no longer accept such bigotry and petty-mindedness
The God that people create in their imaginations today is a different God than was created by the authors of the Bible - and the defenders of the Faith over the centuries.
Today people have grown and are starting to see we are all humans, that skin colour and sexual orientation are not choices, are not things that should divide us, but things that are just variations in humanity.
The problem is that some idiot wrote down what they wanted God to be 1500 years ago, claimed that it could not be changed, and with scribes and the printing press the holy texts have not kept up with changes in society.
Graham is doing nothing more than preaching the gospel as it would have been preached 1000 years ago.
What a sad, backwards little man to try and impose bronze age morality onto an information age society. What a sad, backwards segment of society that pays attention to what he says.

How can anything happen to God since God is supposedly all powerful?. Maybe what you meant to ask is "Is Franklin Graham the worst thing to happen to Christianity?" since his ridiculous statements will affect what people believe about God and how Christians will be perceived?

God has a lot of challenges in Christianity.
I agree with you and am surprised Frank said that especially with all the charity work he does. Doesn't he know God is love and cannot hate?
Love never equals acceptance of negative behavior. It cant. It does accept repentance though.

My Bible says "even the wind and the seas obey him (Jesus). So when a F5 tornado rips through your town, it is the judgement of God. If I were you I'd listen to Franklin Graham. He knows Jesus personally and understands his judgement.
How can you be a Christian minister and not understand the judgement of God.
Jesus' words...
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7, 8 KJV)
