Do you think Seizure laws are fair if someone deals drugs from their home?

I hear in some states they are really getting peoples homes quickly if drugs are being dealt from their home - BEFORE the person is convicted of dealing drugs?

I am NOT supporting drugs sales but BEFORE ? convictions?

To me it would make more sense to give a person a fair chance of a trial and conviction before you take their cars and home.

Plus how does that help society or it that just to help greedy local governments who are strapped for cash?

How do you know you could be framed by the police and your nice car just taken ?

Your story is about a mobile home. It was impounded. It benefits society because now other drug dealers can't take up residence and keep selling drugs in the neighborhood.

The actual transfer of title won't be until after a conviction. If they are acquitted, they'll get it back.

The laws are just bullies. It doesn't matter if we think its fair or not their going to do it regardless just cause they can. How do they know if it went to the police department? Their's so many crooked cops out there alot of them dont even do inventory when confiscating because if the law says thats all you had then thats all you had and thats that your loss. I got jacked by the law before and when I went to complain to internal affairs they called me back and said it wasn't in the inventory list written by the officer and that was it

IMO, suspicion doesn't count. No warrant, no entry. I will defend my castle. ;)
