I haven't yet read that he was charged, tried, and convicted of anything. We don't yet live in a totalitarian state such as Iran where u can be falsely accused of being gay or having unmarried sex by a vengeful rival, be arrested thrown into jail, be beaten, whipped, and maybe worst in the public square without a trial. Is this the America u want? And whom would enlist to fight for ur freedom if they had no idea if they would be left Behind on someones whim? Wake up if it was ur son or daughter would u be ok to leave them behind and die cause someone accused them?

Do you honestly think America should leave soldiers behind based on gut feeling?

If Bergdahl deserted he will face court martial, and he'll deserve it. But we can't just judge him guilty based on public opinion then leave him in a POW camp to rot. That has never been an option.

Good grief, do you actually think that any military man, or woman, would want to be left behind in enemy territory while his fellow soldiers went home. Americans would never allow that to happen. If they start devaluing our troops, and leaving them behind, there would be no one willing to serve.

The military has their own PR which is to promote the military not to tarnish their image. It is their best interest to investigate this issue and dispel any of these negative rumors as soon as possible because these allegations are not making them look good.

No man left behind-- has been the military code and they are extremely proud to make that claim.

You are so quick to shame our president, even when you don't have all the facts.......shame on you!

I think... I think I live in the best country in the world. I think our soldiers ire incredibly brave for standing up up for people they don't even know. I think our president has done a great job (doing the most dificult job there is) running the most powerful country in the world. I think you are an uneducated individual that has no idea what they are talking about.
