Who do I ask to write my college recommendations?

I already have one teacher, my pre-calculus teacher, to write a letter of recommendation. I was wondering whether it is important to get the second recommendation from a humanities teacher. This is important to me because I can ask my physics teacher for one and we have a great relationship, but I am unsure of my relations with any of my English or Social Studies teachers except for my freshman year history teacher. Please let me know what you recommend that I do.

You don't need to choose a humanities teacher to write one. But colleges highly recommend you to ask it from one math or science teacher and one humanities teacher. But recommendation letters can be written by anyone. It's more effective to choose someone who knows you really well.

    Can anyone answer my question?

No, you don't absolutely need a humanities teacher to write a recommendation. Choose the teachers who know you best and who can write well of you. Your Physics teacher would be fine.
