New Car and Car Accident?
Hello Yahoo,
Today was a bad day for me. I just bought my first car and just got into a car accident. The car was uninsured. Is it possible to get insurance for people who just got into an accident?

Why did you move your car without having it insured? To answer the question, yes you can get insurance now, but it will insure you from the moment you get it forward, it will not go into the past to just before you had the accident.
The average person with average intelligence knows it's the law you must have insurance to drive. You didn't. Any damage done as a result of that you will pay out of your own pocket.

No dummy...if you could buy insurance to cover an accident that already happened, nobody would carry insurance. You should have insured the car before you ever drove it away.

you got into an accident the day you got the car, and no insurance? dint you listen to the rules, always get insurance before driving any car?
insurance companies know about this, they willl not cover accidents prior to getting insurance.

Hello
NO. This is exactly why Insurance Companies record Time and Date the Policy started to make sure this doesn't happen.
