The five prisoners traded for Bowe Bergdahl: what crimes are they guilty of?
The news media has repeatedly referred to these men as "terrorists" but I'm unable to find any information about a single terrorist act that can be attributed to any of them. It's my understanding that most of the prisoners in Gitmo were never charged with any crimes. If they are terrorists what did they do?
I'm not interested in political arguments; I just wonder if there is any strong evidence that they are guilty of any crimes. Thanks.

Most Guantanamo detainees have not been charged or tried and therefore have not been found guilty of anything. You answered your own question....

They were members of the Taliban administration. The Taliban hasn't waged war with the US, nor does the US claim that the Taliban is a terrorist organization. They certainly helped with the administration aspects of the Taliban, but they aren't 'the most dangerous terrorists ever' as the GOP has made them out to be, and they certainly weren't MORE dangerous than the 520 Gitmo detainees that republicans released under Bush, one of whom killed our US consulate workers. http://gawker.com/ex-gitmo-detainee-released-by-bu...

Most very likely NONE! If those five prisoners had committed any crimes against our country, I can surely note that the conservatives in congress who so much HATE president Obama, would be talking about those crimes in the news and using that against Obama as full force as ever possible. And the right wing radio talk show hosts like Savage would be having one hell of a happy party time and shaming Obama to the most passionate hatred they ever had. If just one of those prisoners had committed a crime, we would be hearing about it from the right wing, never ending. Oh, that's right I forgot, anyone who is brave enough to uncover some truth that they in washington don't want uncovered. . . . . . . . . . . .is a terrorist.

They weren't really convicted of anything. I am not saying they weren't horrible people, but when it was seen that they were not going through any trial at gitmo, some people suggested they get tried in federal court, 99% conviction rate! it was filibustered.
