I know someone who is feeding feral cats in her yard. They are using her yard as a "giant litterbox".?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do or use to keep the cats from doing this. She rents the house and cleans up after the cats everyday.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

By the way, she is working with a local spay/neuter group to get these cats spayed and neutered.

Please , NO NASTY COMMENTS!!!!

Toxoplasmosis is real and it specificaly targets the brain. You will have to use a respirator to enjoy(?) your backyard or risk brain damage, the horrible truth.

If the cats are in her yard and she is cleaning the yard daily, then what is your problems with this? She is spaying/neutering too.

If she is cleaning up after the cats every day - what is the problem then? They are going to have to urinate and defecate somewhere. Are they annoying someone? I suppose she could try to have a large sandbox built and filled with sand and perhaps they would be more inclined to use that but they are still going to be "doing" their business.

You said she cleans up everyday and gets them fixed. I don't get why you are complaining? As long as she is putting food out they will keep coming. There is nothing you can do. If you want to keep them out of your yard then put up some motion sprinklers. Or they have a motion detectors that beeps. Either will work and you can buy them online.

They are not going to stop. They are wild animals, they will poop and pee.

I have feral cats in my yard, the poop isn't a problem. It's like fertilizer. If she has a grass yard, it shouldn't be an issue.

I have ten cats frequent my property. Never had an issue with them pooping.

Could you edit what you want to know? I mean what is the problem? Are the cats bothering you in some way? From what you are saying so far she seems like she is trying to be a good neighbor.

put down moth balls where you don't want them to urinate
