iMovie Question? 10pts.?

Okay so I recorded some gameplay on my iPad with the elgato in 1080p. On my computer it's 1080 and when I transferred it with the wire from my computer to my iPad it's 1080 still but when I edit it on iMovie in iOS and I'm about to export it only gives me the option to export in 720 nothing higher and if I try to send it directly to YouTube it still doesn't show the 1080p choice. Also yes I am sure the unedited videos are in 1080p. So does anyone know how to get the export in 1080p choice?

I've searched around but I can't find any answers.

Thanks in advance:)

You can export in 1080p indeed, you have to check your settings, Make sure your screen is 16:9, you have imported it as "full". If you have quicktime you can choose the "Export using quicktime" function,

There is a guide here with pictures for 1080p involving quicktime :

If that don't work there is a few things people did here that may help:

    Hope it helps!

Use something like Quick Time player and convert it to 1080p...

Even if it's already in 1080p, just so your mac has converted it which may allow it to work.

If it doesn't currently let you, then it isn't in 1080p
