How to control when Yahoo signs you in, and you don't want it to?

If I sign onto my sister's computer, it "remembers" my user ID and password, and signs me in automatically. How do I get Yahoo to stop doing this? I don't need my sister's household to be able to see my emails.

Also, it does this with one of my profiles (Admin), but not the other.

The BEST way is to use the "Private" (aka "Incognito") mode, which remembers nothing about your session(s).

Firefox is under "File"> "New private window"; not sure on other browsers.

The browser should be closed completely when you're finished, to make sure no traces can linger.

    ----------

You will have to clear your password from the browser somehow, which is what remembers it.

Locating that depends on which browser is used, but often it's found in the 'Security' section.

Just uncheck the Remember Me box when logging out.

Uncheck the box that says, "Remember Me". That should be able to solve your problem. Good luck!

The box was not checked in the first place.
