Can I stand my ground of someone does not use their turn signal?
When someone does not use their turn signal I see it as a threat to the my kids in the car. Cars can be weapons if used unlawfully. Not using your turn signal is a sign of laziness.

try your best to save your kids without ending up in jail.
don't forget that the other drivers are also humans and can make mistakes.

You value your kids safety so much that you want to "stand your ground" and let this person not using their turn signal hit you and possibly hurting your kids? I think you are more of a threat to your kids welfare than the person not using his turn signal. You don't know he's not turning until he does and is now a risk to hitting you.
If you are that concerned about your children's safety, you need to expect the unexpected.

What do you mean? Stand your ground as in the firearm law? No absolutely not. You cannot shoot someone and claim self defense because they failed to signal a turn and you felt threatened.

If by "stand your ground" you mean can you cause harm to another person, no. I believe that concept is based on self defense.
If you are driving your car with your kids in it and someone else fails to use their turn signal, it is your job as the driver to be aware of your surroundings and adjust accordingly, not get out and beat them up. And I'd say that you getting so worked up about this is also a threat to your kids in the car because what you are actually talking about is road rage and you would be the perpetrator in this instance.

You could, but it wouldn't hold up in court.
A parent who would shoot a driver for not using their turn signal likely poses a greater threat to their children than the other driver, however.

This is the story of Seamus O'Shea
Who died defending his "Right of Way"
He was right, dead right, as he drove along
In fact, just as dead as if he'd been wrong!

Hell, cops kill people all the time who accidentally bump them with their cars...
